The Hourglass Institute series is a
group of books written by Richard Denning. They are Young Reader
Science Fiction books dealing with an agency that protects the
timeline from those who would alter time for their own benefit.
The series is intended for readers 10 years and older.
The books star Thomas Oakley, a young
teenager who is the most powerful Walker ever born. Tom has the
ability to travel through time bringing along other people. He is
joined by Septimus Mason - a Welshman that can also Walk through
time, and three other Walkers that Tom and Septimus rescued in time:
Edward Dyson, Mary Brown, and Charlie Hawker. With the guidance of
Professor Neoptolemas, Tom and the members of the Hourglass
Institute protect the world from time infractions. |
