In the
Country of Shura, Ashura shows everyone that Yasha is not alive, but a
transient thing that only appeared to be alive because of the memory
feather. She gives the feather to Sakura and she absorbs it. Mokona then
opens the portal and transports the entire group back to the Country of
Shara. But things are vastly different now. The Suzuran Troupe and the men who worship the Statue of
Yasha now live in peace and harmony. In fact, the leaders of both are
getting married and the two statues that were worshipped individually,
are now one. Syaoran, Kurogane, Fai, and Sukura realize that they
must have transported into Shara's past and made changes when they
stopped the war between Ashura and Yasha. Mokona uses his powers again
and they are transported to Piffle World. There is going to be a race
called Dragonfly and the winner receives a very powerful item . . . one
of Sakura's memory feathers. They start to notice people that they have
met on other worlds on Piffle World. They soon come to realize that
these people may look like their friends, but they are different people. Syaoran, Kurogane, Fai,
and even Sukura, enter the Dragonfly race, a race through the air in
flying vehicles. One of them must win the race so Sakura can get back
her memory feather. The only question is whether any of them have the
skill to do so.

Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is the most awesome manga being published by Del Rey
today. I absolutely love this series. It is packed with action and a
spectacular story arc. All of the characters that Clamp has created are
wonderful and I find great joy in reading this series. What made Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Volume 10
so spectacular is the newest world they visited, Piffle World. A race. I
love a race. What I did miss in this book was Sakura getting more of her
memories back when she received the feather on the Country of Shara.
Yes, she got the feather, but we didn't get to see what old memories she
remembered. I also enjoy how each one of the books in this series ends
in a cliff hanger, kind of like a Batman TV show from the 1960's.
Overall, Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Volume 10
is another excellent book in an already wonderful manga series by Clamp.
I cannot wait to see how the race ends up in
Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE: Volume 11. No doubt it will be very exciting.
I rated
this book a 9½ out of 10. |
