After
appearing in a jungle, Syaoran watched over Sukura until she awoke. When Sukura
is caught in a trap, Syaoran tries to rescue her, but is knocked
unconscious. When Kurogane, Fai and Mokona find Sukura , they all follow
the smoke to a village, fearing the worst for Syaoran. The locals were
going to sacrifice Syaoran to the creature that has recently appeared
and wrecked havoc on their village. These little bunny creatures agree
to let Syaoran, Kurogane, Sukura and Mokono go after the creature and if
they don't return, they will sacrifice Fai. When they find the wind
creature, Sukura can hear its pain and helps it heal. When all four
return to the village, Fai has the feather that the villagers had and
Mokona transports them to another world, the country of Shara. Syaoran
and Sukura appear in middle of a group of girls called the Suzuran
Troupe. The women perform like circus acrobats and travel from town to
town performing for an audience. Their guardian god is the Ashura
Statue. Meanwhile Kurogane, Fai and Mokona appear in a town and wander
into a temple. There they are attacked by some men until their master,
Sôseki, appears. He apologizes and explains that they worship the Statue
of Yasha. Every time the Suzuran Troupe comes to town, their statue
starts bleeding form a scar over its right eye. They blame the Suzuran
Troupe for this, so the men and women battle frequently. Unfortunately, Syaoran, Sukura, Kurogane,
Fai and Mokona are caught in the middle of their feud.

Can we all
say this together? "Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is
totally awesome!" This series is just one big adventure traveling from
world to world looking for Sukura's memory feathers. The stories are
always highly interesting all five of the main characters are wonderful.
I love the comic relief of Mokona. At first he was a rather minor
character, but now he mostly torments Kurogane, which makes me laugh. Sukura's
memory is slowly coming back and she is starting to remember he past
with Syaoran. Yea! I cannot wait until she realizes how important he is
to her. The bunnies were a nice touch and I found them to be quite
enjoyable. They were funny, and quite absent-minded. As for the artwork,
once again it is spectacular. I don't know if I can say enough about
this series. Each book is quite excellent and I have thoroughly enjoyed
the series so far. Overall, Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 8 is another totally excellent manga
book and that explains its popularity. I'll bet their further adventures
in Tsubasa:
RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 9 will lead us to even more interesting
worlds. I can't wait!
