Review

Princess Sakura is now awake, but all of her memories of Syaoran have been wiped out of her memory. After getting another feather of Sakura's memory, they travel to another country where they end up in a foggy forest. While Fai, Kurogane and Mokona go exploring at night, Syaoran notices that the lake they are camping by is glowing. He swims down to the bottom and finds a miniature city under the water. But there is no feather in this country, so Mokona transports them to another country called Jade. Mokona doesn't sense a feather on this country either. Needing money for food, shelter and clothing, Sakura gets involved in a local game of poker, and wins ever hand. They soon hear an old tale of a golden-haired princess who received a magical feather from a bird 300 years ago. Soon after, the king and queen mysteriously died and all of the most children of the nearby village of Spirit disappeared. Now, there are rumors that kids are disappearing again from Spirit. The gang buys some horses and ride through the dead forest to the town of Spirit. That night, Sakura witnesses the Princess With the Locks of Gold appearing in town. The next morning it is reported that children are missing. The townspeople blame Syaoran and his friends, but they have no proof. The next night, Sakura sees the Princess With the Locks of Gold appear again and follows her and the children toward the castle. The next morning, Syaoran is shocked to find that not only are more children missing, but so is his beloved princess.

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 4 is another fantastic manga book by Clamp. I had forgotten how much this series entertains me. Once I get past the slightly elongated style of drawing Clamp has, I find that this book is in my top five series that DelRey Manga publishes. All of the characters are very interesting and readers will love all the action, although this book didn't have a lot it this time. This book was used for building up to the battle over the children with the Princess With the Locks of Gold that is sure to come in the next book. I really enjoyed both the writing and drawing style of Clamp and the translation is pretty good. It could use a little polishing off, but it isn't too bad at all. This book ends in a cliffhanger, so I am greatly anticipating what will happen next. Overall, Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 4 is an awesome story that should not be missed by anyone who loves science fiction like I do. I cannot wait to see how they deal with the Princess With the Locks of Gold in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 5. I bet it won't be easy to get all the children back safely to the town of Spirit.

I rated this book a 9 out of 10.
