Tinker Bell's Home
Tinker
Bell is a pots-and-pans-talent fairy who loves working with
metal. You can tell just by looking at the outside of her room. Even her
terrace railing is made of old spoons, pokers, and pots handles!
Whenever Tink gets a dented, bent, or
broken pot from the kitchen, she tries her hardest to fix it. But if a
pot can't be fixed, Tink doesn't throw it away. She takes it back to her
room, where it becomes a chair, a lamp, or some other useful item. |

Synopsis |
|
In Pixie Hollow, the secret
heart of Never Land, five fairies take us on a tour of both the outside
and the inside of their beautiful homes. This book features five
gorgeous fold out pages, that are almost poster size, of the inside of
the following fairy homes:
-
Lily - a garden-talent
fairy
-
Tinker Bell - a
pots-and-pans-talent fairy
-
Rani - a water-talent
fairy
-
Fira - a light-talent
fairy
-
Beck - an animal-talent
fairy
Inside their homes, each
poster shows a close-up of the fairy and focuses on many of the items in
their rooms and what they are called. Each fairy has a small description
about who they are and what they do.
Secret Fairy Homes
is a poster book in the Disney Fairies series and is illustrated by
Judith Holmes Clark and Adrienne Brown. This poster book is
intended for young readers aged 6 to 10.

Review |
|
Secret Fairy Homes
is filled with some of the most beautiful Disney artwork ever. Each of
the large posters are quite wonderful and kids will spend hours pouring
over them. My 11-year old daughter took one look at this book, grabbed
it out of my hands, and I had a hard time prying it out of hers so I
could review it.
Judith Holmes Brown does the artwork for every Disney
Fairies Chapter Book with the Disney Storybook Artists. So, I wasn't too
surprised at how spectacular this book looks.
So, if your child loves Tinker Bell and the Fairies and Swallow Men of
Pixie Hollow,
Secret Fairy Homes
is
absolutely the right book for you. Your child will love it, just like
mine does.
I rated this book a 10 out of
10. |
