Jack Austin
The Jack Austin series
features protagonist Jack Austin, a Maine native,
and long-hitting, poor-putting journeyman PGA Tour
player who suffers from dyslexia. The family of
characters is rounded out by Perkins, Austin's
lifelong best friend, a former police officer
working now as a private investigator; Austin's wife
Lisa Trembley-Austin, head golf analyst for CBS;
daughter Darcy; Tim Silver, Jack's openly gay caddy;
and Nash Henley, a dyslexic youth whom Jack treats
like a younger brother.
