Legends Trilogy
Gift Set by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman consists of
three books written in the world of DragonLance. It is a fantasy tale of
humans, elves, trolls, kenders, and the like. Raistlin Majere travels
back in time to to study under Fistandantilus. His ultimate goal is to
confront the Queen of darkenss int he abyss and kill her, thereby
becoming a god. Caramon Majere also travels back in time to get Crysania
healed. Tasslehoff Burrfoot hitch-hikes along and ends up being the
biggest hero there is.
The tale starts in the 421
page Time of the Twins. Raistlin,
Camaron, Crysania and Tas travel back in time, each for their own
reasons.
The story continues in the
411 page
War of the Twins.
Raistlin continues in his search for the portal to the Abyss. now known
as Fistandantilus, Raistlin does not let anyone stand in his way to
reach his ultimate goal.
The story arc concludes in
the 320 page Test of the Twins.
Raistlin battles the dark Queen in the Abyss while Caramon makes a
decision that will change his life forever.
This is a good trilogy.
Even if you haven't read a DragonLance story before, you
will still be able to understand
almost everything in the Legends Trilogy. The boxed gift set
makes this the perfect time to pick up this entire fantasy
