The Clan Elves of the Bitterroot series is a trilogy of Fantasy books written by Lyndi Alexander.

Jelani Marsh is a twenty-five year old woman that lives in Montana and serves coffee at the local coffee shop. When she finds a glass slipper on the sidewalk and tries to put it on, she cuts her foot and small elven men jump out her blood and run down the street. As the elves reach full height, she is informed that she is the only daughter of the queen, who has been missing for twenty-five years.

Jelani must step into the role of queen of the elves, a role she is ill-prepared for, and try to appease all of the elves that do not believe she should be queen.
