Way back when, when he was one year old, he  entered a race in the Stroller Derby against other babies. His main competitor in a was Supermusclebaby in a powerful stroller coaster.

Going in Circles - When Captain Yellow Shoulder takes Sardine and L'il Louie to ride on the Saturn Carousel, they discover that it is closed. Robot DJ - Sardine reads in a newspaper that the Voyager probe will be leaving the Earth's solar system. She reads about the record that was made and wants to take it to give to her uncle for his birthday. On board the Voyager, they find a robot DJ that has been remixing the record keeping it current with modern music. Supermuscleman and Doc Krok have also read the article and arrive to steal the record.

Milk Teeth - Doc Krok catches Tooth Mousie, the Tooth Fairy's sidekick. Doc Krok and Supermuscleman come up with a plan to have Tooth Mousie bring them all the milk teeth he collects, not give the kids any money for their missing teeth, milk the teeth for the milk inside them, and sell the milk back to the kids. Review

Sardine in Outer Space 6 is another fun-packed collection of short stories starring Sardine, L'il Louie and Captain Yellow Shoulder aboard their ship the Huckleberry. As they foil the plans of Supermuscleman and Doc Krok, they fight the evil that threatens their universe. To tell the truth, Supermuscleman and Doc Krok aren't really all that bad because they are too stupid to be truly evil. They will make kids laugh.

Early Chapter readers will love these quick stories. The colors are bright and vibrant and the translation from French to English is spot-on. The stories all all extremely different and kids will be entranced by Sardine always outwitting Supermuscleman and Doc Krok. The artwork is mediocre at best and if this was improved, the feel of the book would be awesome. It is too bad that Fabrice Parme is not drawing this book. His work on Tiny Tyrant is absolutely brilliant.

Girls will like the strong lead character in this book. Sardine is always ready to lead the charge to bust Supermuscleman and Doc Krok. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it.

Overall, Sardine in Outer Space 6 is another great collection of short stories that Early Chapter readers will read again and again. I give these books to the middle school where I work and the kids are always clamoring for more. They will be very happy to receive this book tomorrow. So, if your Early Chapter reader is struggling with traditional Early Chapter books, pick up a copy of one of the Sardine in Outer Space books. Who knows? It may just start them on the path to loving to read.

I rated this book an 8 out of 10.
