The plane was headed toward the mountain. It was about to crash!

Out of nowhere, a white streak crossed the sky.

"What's that?" Blossom asked.

"A bird?" Bubbles guessed.

"A plane?" Buttercup suggested.

The white streak raced toward the plane. It swooped just in time to save the plane!

The Girls were amazed. They were even more amazed to discover the mysterious here was none other than . . .

. . . the Professor!

He was all dressed up in a white jumpsuit with a silver lab coat and a little silver cape. On his feet were silver boots; on his head, a white helmet. In place of his usual square, black-rimmed glasses were silver goggles.

"Never fear! The Powerpuff Professor is here!" he shouted.

Synopsis

The Powerpuff Girls (Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup) are super-powered crime fighters in the city of Townsville. They work for Professor Utonium. But while the girls are out fighting crime a lot, the Professor soon realizes that he really misses his Girls. So, one day, he invents a superhero suit that will let him fight along side his Girls. He calls himself the Powerpuff Professor.

At first everything is great. The Girls really enjoy having the Professor with them as they take down Mojo Jojo. But something in the Professor begins to change. And the Girls do not like the change. Is there any way the Girls can change Professor Powerpuff back into plain ol' Professor?

Powerpuff Professor is the first book in the The Powerpuff Girls series by Amy Keating Rogers. This story is intended for 3rd to 5th graders, or anyone who just loves the cartoon on The Cartoon Network.

Review

My 8-year old daughter read Powerpuff Professor to me. She loves the Powerpuff Girls and had a great time with this book. Some 3rd graders may find some of the big words intimidating, but they should be able to get by. Overall, Powerpuff Professor is a fun read and should not be missed by any child that loves the cartoon.

Personally, I wasn't all that thrilled with Powerpuff Professor, but my daughter loved it.

I rated this book a 7½ out of 10.
