Synopsis

Princess Sakura is now awake, but does not remember who Syaoran is. Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, and Sakura travel to their next world via Mokona to look for another memory feather.

On the new world, they instantly get into a fight with the son of Ryanban, the so-called master of the country Koryo. He also lays claims to the town of Ryonfi, where the four appeared. The four befriend Chu'nyan and she tells them about Ryanban and how he has only come to power in the last year. Ryanban rules over the land by using magic, magic that he obtained when he found a magical feather.

The four settle down and help rebuild the magically-damaged town of Ryonfi, and guess who should appear again . . . the son of Ryanban, demanding more tax money from the people. Syaoran defends and old man that was about to be whipped and loses to the son of Ryanban and his magical tornado.

The four come to a realization that the Ryanban must have found a memory feather. He lives in a large castle that is heavily guarded by magic. Hearing the four talk, Mokona contacts the Space-Time Witch and she sends through something that will help them get into the castle. Thus, Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane begin a quest to retrieve another memory feather for Sakura. Little do then know of the dangers that lay ahead.

Review

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 3 is another excellent addition to this manga series. I was a little bummed that the kudan cannot be invoked in the Koryo, as I though the kudan was totally cool. Still, there is a lot of fighting in the book with the son of Ryanban and a lot of magic to be beheld.

Clamp, once again, proves himself to be a wonderful writer and has quite the imagination. I really like all of the action scenes that he has has drawn and the translation into English reads well.

This book has a lot to do with revenge . . . revenge for what Ryansan did to Chu'nyan's Omani. Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 3 is an awesome manga series that should not be missed by anyone. I love all the  action and the adventure.

Out of all the manga series I read, and I read a lot, Tsubasa has shot up to be in my top three series, along with Negima and Basilisk.

So, if you are looking for a totally hot manga series to read, Tsubasa is the one to pick up. You will love it. I can't wait to see if they find another memory feather in Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE - Volume 4. Boy, oh boy, more adventure awaits.

I rated this book a 9½ out of 10.
