Review

Summers Fly, Winters Walk introduces two a new character to the Peanuts world: Belle.  Belle is Snoopy's sister. I didn't even know he had a sister. We get to met her while Snoopy is trying to take a train to play in Wimbledon. This book also puts a name to Snoopy's arch-nemesis, the cat next door. His or her name is "World War II." Who knew?

I have been reading Peanuts comic strips since I was a little kid. I had the small paperback books and would spends hours upon hours sitting there reading about my favorite cartoon  characters. I have always greatly enjoyed Linus, except for when he gets too preacher-like spouting off quotes from the Bible. But I have to say that my favorite Peanuts character of all time is Charlie Brown. I don't know why, maybe I just feel bad for the round-headed kid. Nothing ever seem to go right for him. And who doesn't love Lucy, Lunus' older sisters who is perpetually crabby. I'm sure glad my sister was nothing like Lucy.

Summers Fly, Winters Walk, Peanuts Parade number 21 is another wonderful collection of comic strips from the mind of Charles M. Schulz. If you are looking for an entertaining book to read, pick up a Peanuts book today. You can generally find a copy of this book on eBay.
