Cyan loves
his master. Cyan is a cat and Kokoro is the boy that owns him. But
Kokoro is sick and must move away to be treated. The mother, feeling
that Cyan would remind Kokoro of happier times, abandons him in the
large apartment building they lived in. While waiting for his mater to
return, the stray cats from the basement (Coon, Char, Rat, and Amesho) wander into his apartment.
These abandoned cats take Cyan under their wing and finally convince him
to remove his collar because his master will not be returning. They
begin his training to teach him how to fight and survive.
All of
the Free Collar cats bear the scar around their necks from the collars
that they once wore. It is a sense of pride to them that they no longer
wear their collars. Cyan learns that he is in the middle of the biggest
feline territorial battle in Japan. They end up battling Siam, the
Commander in Chief of the Siam Army that rules over West Ikebukuro.
Siam
wants to take over East Ikebukuro also. Years ago, a cat named Wild Cat
made sure that Ikebukuro was a peaceful land for all. But since he
disappeared, the land has been torn asunder. Siam sends General Kline
after the cats of the Free Collar Kingdom because they stand in her way
of expanding her territory into East Ikebukuro. But what nobody realized
is the Cyan is a descendant of Wild Cat and has Wild Cats powers. So,
look out! The battle for Ikebukuro is about to begin!
